Connecting Community and Commerce: 28th Ward Health & Resource Fair

Post by

The Lawndale Business Renaissance Association was honored to take part in Alderman Jason C. Ervin’s 28th Ward Health & Resource Fair on Friday, October 16, at The JLM Life Center.

The event provided West Side residents and business operators with essential wellness screenings, vaccinations, document shredding, electronics recycling, and city agency resource connections.

LBRA Program Director Patrick Oden connected with attendees at the fair to promote the upcoming Midwest Corridor Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) grant, open November 1–30, 2026. He shared program flyers and guided local operators through the SBIF application process and related city incentive programs.
